When a provider resigns or is disenrolled from the network, the provider must continue to provide covered services, at the rate and pursuant to the requirements specified in the provider/facility agreement and to adhere to VBH-PA’s policies and procedures, to members receiving active treatment at the time of termination until the course of treatment is completed or until VBH-PA makes reasonable and medically appropriate arrangements to have another provider render such services.  Members should be encouraged to call the VBH-PA toll-free member lines to identify options for continuing their treatment after the transition period.
